MST plus Contingency Management (MST-CM)


Target Population:

Substance-abusing youth

Areas of Increased Focus in MST-CM Adaptation:

Key components of CM include frequent drug testing, with consequences linked to results; functional analyses of substance use; and development of self-management plans

Summary/Overview:

This adaptation of MST adds components of CM to standard MST for use with substance-abusing youth. MST-CM is an evidence-based treatment for substance abuse that includes drug and alcohol testing.
