Target Population:

Youth with psychiatric service needs

Areas of Increased Focus in MST-Psychiatric Adaptation:

Psychiatric drivers and medication management, safety planning

Summary/Overview:

This adaptation of MST is for youth being screened primarily for psychiatric service needs and psychiatric impairments, and includes the addition of a child psychiatrist (part-time) to the MST team. MST-Psychiatric is not an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization.
